Our customers eat between 30% and a 100% of their weekly meals in our dining halls, and this leaves us with the responsibility of ensuring between 30% and a 100% of their nutritional needs are being met, and exceeded. Fortunately, our team is exceptional at designing menus packed with every essential nutritional component your body needs and at cooking them in delectable ways. We are firm believers in creating healthy food that also tastes really good.
Nutrition and taste do not have to be mutually exclusive, and to achieve this intricate balance, our culinary team is armed with experts that know everything there is to know about food. Each menu for each of our clients is custom curated by our team of chefs and our nutritionist to ensure that it contains the essential proteins, fibers, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, we steer clear of major allergens, highly processed foods and unseasonal produce to ensure all our dishes are as wholesome as possible.
Our menu’s regularly feature salad bars, diet foods, fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruit and whole grain breads. With an extensive menu bank, years of R&D and a passion for good cooking, we are proud to say that we know exactly how to make healthy eating desirable for our clients.
Freshness
For healthy food to taste good, freshness of ingredients and their preparation is absolutely necessary. Due to our immense passion for good food and in pursuit of culinary excellence at our institutional kitchens, the Caterman team is constantly working to innovate and improve on the freshness of every single ingredient we use in the kitchen. Additionally, fresh ingredients retain a lot more nutritious value compared to processed foods that may have been adulterated, and in many cases, exposed to preservatives and other such chemicals. Health and safety, our ultimate priority, is maintained through purchasing and cooking the freshest ingredients.
We typically receive all our fresh produce between 24 and 48 hours before preparation ensuring it is never frozen or processed. Our kitchen teams sort through hundreds of kilos of fruits and vegetables every day to ascertain only the best is cooked and served to our clients.. All our food preparation happens within 24 hours of service and nothing is ever stored or precooked longer than that.
Our menus evolve with the season and along with the added benefit of excitement in dishes, we serve only what is seasonal and fresh. Our procurement teams scour the labyrinth of seasonal produce markets and bring new and innovative additions to the list of ingredients every month. Our highly experienced culinary teams then adapt or create additions to our vast menu bank to bring the freshest dishes to the table.

Hygienic Operations
The health and safety of our clients and staff is a responsibility we take very seriously. By placing hygiene and the strongest operating procedures at the apex of our priorities, we are able to ensure the highest level of confidence in the safety of our food and services.
At Caterman, we have an exclusive Safety, Quality and Hygiene team who dedicate each and every work day to ensure every site kitchen, every employee and every vendor is in accordance with our robust compliance mechanism. Using a variety of reports, checklists, audits, SOPs, trainings and demonstrations, we maintain a level of Safety, Quality and Hygiene that is much higher than the industry standard.
Furthermore, we work with a lot of external compliances and auditors as well. We have been certified under ISO 22000:2018. Apart from working within the guidelines and standards of the FSSAI, we do not purchase any supplies from a vendor if they are not recognized by the FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India). We maintain regular testing of food and water with the leading testing agencies in the industry. All our instruments are maintained with utmost care and are regularly sent for calibration. Last but not least, we have a stellar record at our sites when it comes to external audits.
